Bronchoscopy
What is bronchoscopy?
Bronchoscopy is a procedure used by doctors to look inside the lungs. This procedure is performed using a bronchoscope — a thin, flexible tube with a light and lens or small camera on the end. The tube is inserted through the nose or mouth, down the throat, into the trachea and continues to the air passages (bronchi and bronchioles) in the lungs of the person having the procedure.
