Participate in this year's contest, Ha Oncology Hospital Internal Medicine presents 05 techniques belonging to the following groups: surgery, interventional endoscopy and supportive applications in cancer treatment. All techniques are highly appreciated for their practical application and practical contribution to improving treatment efficiency and patient service quality. At the competition, Hanoi Oncology Hospital excellently won the First Prize with the technique "Plastic surgery in vulvar cancer using lotus petal flap" by MSc.BSNT. Truong Minh Tuan and his crew performed. This technique allows maximum preservation of anatomical structure, improves function and aesthetic factors after surgery, thereby improving the quality of life for patients with vulvar cancer. In addition, the hospital also won the Third Prize with the technique "Interventional endoscopy - gastrointestinal submucosal dissection (ESD) for early cancer treatment" by Dr. Nguyen Huu Nguyen and deployment team. This is a minimally invasive intervention technique, allowing early damage to be removed without surgery, helping to shorten treatment time, limit complications and bring optimal treatment results to the patient.
The results achieved at the contest have affirmed the increasingly improved professional capacity of the team of young physicians at Hanoi Oncology Hospital, shows clear progress in applying high technology to cancer treatment, expanding conservative surgery and minimally invasive interventions, aiming to improve the quality of life for patients. This achievement not only contributes to spreading the spirit of creativity, improvement and innovation among the young staff of the Capital's health sector, but also demonstrates the hospital's active contributing role in the city's scientific and technical activities.
