If notclinical examination or diagnostic imaging tests show that a person disease may have breast cancer, the doctor may order a test biopsy needle core to diagnose diagnose determine. This is often the preferred type of biopsy in cases of suspected breast cancer because it removes more breast tissue than fine needle aspiration (FNA) without surgery.
