Activity was implemented according to Plan No. 1142/KH-SYT dated February 5, 2026 by Hanoi Department of Health. This year, Hanoi Oncology Hospital was chosen as a blood donation site for officials and employees of many units in the industry, including: Thanh Nhan Hospital, My Duc Psychiatric Hospital and Hanoi Dermatology Hospital.
From early morning, a large number of officials and medical staff were present to perform health checks and register to donate blood. The atmosphere at the blood donation area was urgent but warm and full of sharing. The blood donation rows were quickly filled with a sense of responsibility and compassion, as each person wanted to contribute their small part to add hope to patients in need of blood transfusions.
The program attracted nearly 400 officials and medical staff to participate and received 306 units of blood - the highest number ever in blood donations at the hospital. Each unit of blood donated not only means treatment support, but also a symbol of human love, companionship and sharing between medical professionals and the community.
Hospital staff participate in voluntary blood donation
For many years, voluntary blood donation has become a traditional beauty of Hanoi Oncology Hospital at the beginning of each year. For medical staff, participating in blood donation is not only a charitable act but also a practical way to contribute to saving patients' lives - true to the spirit and mission of the medical profession. The bright smiles after donating blood and the proudly raised arms have become beautiful images, clearly demonstrating the kindness of the "white-shirted soldiers".
Hanoi Oncology Hospital respectfully acknowledges and thanks all officers and employees of the units who actively participated in the program. This noble gesture has been and will continue to be maintained and spread by many generations of hospital staff, contributing to building a humane, responsible and loving medical environment.
Every drop of blood given – A life left behind.
