The program is organized with the direct participation of medical staff at Hanoi Oncology Hospital. In the program, nearly 100 policy beneficiaries received general health checks, counseling and cancer screening in a methodical, safe and effective manner.
Through the process of examination and paraclinical testing, the program recorded 47 cases of abnormal health signs, of which 28 cases of thyroid tumors were detected, 1 case of thyroid tumor. breast, 17 cases had suspicious lesions in the lung area requiring a computed tomography scan and 1 case had abnormal lymph nodes in the neck. These cases have been further monitored by consulting doctors and prescribed in-depth examination and necessary tests for accurate diagnosis. In addition, participants are also advised on health care knowledge, lifestyle adjustments, nutrition and regular screening, contributing to raising awareness in the prevention and early detection of common cancers.
